    Greater Nevada Credit Union has an exciting opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to help identify top talent to join the team and help more people Live Greater!

     

    As our Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will perform a variety of professional, technical, and analytical recruiting activities in support of all Greater Nevada companies. You must hold a solid understanding of market conditions, be active on social media forums, attend career fairs, make cold calls, and other creative methods to locate qualified individuals. You will also have the opportunity to establish partnerships with local college campuses or universities to recruit future Greater Nevadans!

    Responsibilities

    1. Develops and implements recruiting strategies and provides full life-cycle recruitment support for all open vacancies for all Greater Nevada companies.
    2. Identifies, targets, and proactively recruits qualified candidates to fill company openings utilizing various techniques and tools (resume databases, employee referrals, college recruiting, career fairs and social networking); ensures positions are filled in a timely manner.     3. Develops, maintains, and actively works the database of potential candidates by documenting correspondence with potential employees in order to provide hiring managers with a pool of qualified applicants.
    4. Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers, openings, and compensation practices; emphasizing competitiveness, benefits, and perks.
    5. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

     

    Qualifications

    • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and team members
    • Ability to embrace and utilize technology
    • Demonstrate high level of reasoning and analytical skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to demonstrate a strong attention to detail
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs (Word/Excel/Outlook/Power Point)
    • Ability to establish effective internal and external working relationships is essential

     

    Desired Skills:

    • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and iCIMS is preferred
    • Connected to and knowledgable about Nevada and job markets is a plus
