    Greater Nevada Credit Union has an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Specialist to join the team and help more people Live Greater!


    As our Human Resources Specialist, you will perform a variety of professional, technical, and analytical payroll/benefits and general HR activities in support of all Greater Nevada companies. You must hold a solid understanding of payroll processes and procedures, be able to learn and educate employees on benefit plans, and work closely with business partners and employees to maintain the best employee experience for all Greater Nevadans!

    1. Perform benefits administration to include educating employees, enrollments and change reporting, approving invoices for payment, and collaborating with third-party administrators and brokers.
    2. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of retirement plan; respond to employee and audit inquiries related to retirement plan participation and process documents related to plan participation including plan loan documents.
    3. Process payroll in an accurate and timely manner at the end of each payroll cycle.
    4. Assist with general HR responsibilities including, but not limited to, Employee Relations.


    1. Must have 2-3 years payroll and benefits experience

    2. High level attention to detail

    3. Experience utilizing a payroll platform

    4. Experience working with various payroll and benefit partners

    5. Ability to establish effective internal and external working relationships is essential
