    This position is responsible for supporting both front and back-office technology key to Greater Nevada's business needs. Responsibilities include assisting staffers in resolving their software and hardware related issues. This position is also responsible for support of all front and back office equipment and includes data center operations and support.


    The Technology Specialist at Greater Nevada supports our business during the day/hours of Monday through Friday 7:30am to 7:00pm and Saturday 8:00am to 4:00pm. The opening is for a FT 40 hour shift beginning at 10:00am through 7:00pm Monday through Friday.


    • Proficient knowledge of current MS Windows environments, MS Windows Server 2008 and 2012 as well as MS applications. 

    • Demonstrate knowledge of TCP/IP networks; both in theory and implementation. 
    • Demonstrate knowledge of the operation and maintenance of servers and data processing systems, including: utilizing established procedures to accurately process incoming and outgoing data, identifying malfunctions or errors and taking appropriate action to prevent the loss of data and/or damage to the system, and the change control/change notification procedures. 
    • Communicate effectively with staff at Greater Nevada to resolve any computer-related issues as well as with software and hardware vendors in order to maintain an accurate and efficient processing of data. 
    • Maintain complete and accurate documentation for all areas of information technology utilized by Greater Nevada. This includes: setting up and configuring workstations; setting up and configuring software including workstation and network setups; accurate count of software/hardware inventory and licenses and any troubleshooting or problems that arise on a per incident basis.
