About The Position: The Accounting Manager is responsible for organizing, directing and leading the daily operations of the accounting functions. They ensure that accounting and financial procedures are aligned to generally accepted accounting principles. What You'll Be Doing - Effectively demonstrate our passion and purpose as a non-profit organization by “Helping More People Live Greater." - Direct and coordinate the monthly financial close process, including ensuring all revenues and costs incurred are properly recorded and financials are issued for all companies in a timely manner. - Maintain a thorough understanding of the financial and regulatory reporting and general ledger structure to maximize the facilitation of current and future reporting requirements. Perform appropriate analysis of all general ledger accounts and financial statements and communicate to management. - Ensure that accounts payable are processed timely and accurately. - Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance. Manage corporate documents that facilitate audits and due diligence. - Ensure that reconciliations are prepared accurately and timely, including all cash accounts. Location and Travel Requirements The Accounting Manager can be Remote within Nevada, or at one of our office locations in Reno or Carson City, Nevada. - You must be willing and able to travel to locales other than the normal location for the position, including overnight trips as appropriate for your job responsibilities. - Must possess a valid Driver’s License and have access to a reliable vehicle.
